Raymond E. Drugmand Sr. of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Thursday March 4, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Raymond was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 7, 1935, the son of Marious H. & Clara M. (Cook) Drugmand. He has resided in Newton Falls since 1966. Raymond married the former Roberta E. Smith on November 8, 1958 and after 30 years of marriage, she passed away on October 2, 1989. Raymond married his current wife, the former Shirley E. Cogar on July 18, 2000. Raymond was an autoworker at General Motors retiring in 1994 after 30 years of service. Raymond was a veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed working in his yard, working on cars, going to Mountaineer, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Memories of Raymond will be carried on by his wife, Shirley Drugmand of Newton Falls, daughters, Sandi & James Walters of Newton Falls, Salli & Timothy McAndrew of Chesapeake, VA, son, Raymond E. Drugmand Jr. of Boseman, MT, step-sons, Terry Deem of Clarksburg, WV, Danna Deem of Ashtabula, Paul & Vicky Deem of Clarksburg, WV, brother, Roland & Florence Drugmand of Pittsburgh and his loving grandchildren, Jaime, Jay & Josh Walters, Hayden & Hannah McAndrew, Amanda, and John, Clint, Justin & Nathan Deem. Raymond is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceeded in death by his first wife, Roberta and his brother, Marious. Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 7, 2010 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
