R. Scott Hartley, age 46 of Leavittsburg unexpectedly passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Warren on October 3, 1969 to Raymond Hartley & Barbara Tomlinson Bradford. Scott was a 1988 graduate of Newton Falls High School. Scott was previously employed as a printer with PM Graphics in Streetsboro. He was currently the maintenance person at Diles Store. Scott was a member of the Newton Falls United Methodist Church. He loved the Cleveland sport teams especially the Cleveland Browns. Scott had a big heart and enjoyed acting crazy and having fun with a personality that lit up a room. Loving memories of Scott will be carried on by his mother, Barbara (Robert) Bradford of Cortland, father, Raymond (Debra) Hartley of Canfield Twp., daughter, Alyssa Hartley of Newton Falls, sons, Aiden Hartley of Newton Falls, Chance Hartley of Leavittsburg, sister, Shari Hartley of Cortland, his brother, Steven (Nancy) Hartley of Austintown and niece, Brooke Barker of Cortland Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 pm. Cremation will take place and Scott will be laid to rest with his Granny Annie at Armstrong Mills Cemetery.
