Reba J. McCracken age 81 of Lake Milton passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday Feb 15, 2025 at her residence . She was born on Aug. 19, 1943 in Widen, WV the daughter of the late Charlie Ratliff and Leaty A. (Hamrick) Ratliff. Reba has lived in Milton Twp, since 1972, formerly of Widen, WV. She married the love of her life, Arthur B. McCracken on Aug. 25, 1961 and they have enjoyed the past 63 years of marriage together. Reba has been a member of the New Road Baptist Church in Austintown for the last 7 years. She loved reading books, keeping a clean home, and raising her children and grandchildren.
Reba is survived by: her loving husband: Arthur B. McCracken of Milton Twp, 1 daughter: Beverly & Keith Evans of Palmyra Twp, OH, 3 sons: Arthur & Elizabeth McCracken of Indiana, David & Sasha McCracken of Washington, Jonathan McCracken of Newton Falls, 2 sisters: Frankie Drake of Flatwoods, WV, Nancy Keener of Gassaway, WV, 1 brother: David & Joyce Ratliff of Wilsie, WV, 7 grandchildren: Kyle, Kody, Tyler, Rachel, Elora, Jessica, Leaty, and 5 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Wednesday Feb 19, 2025 at 12:00pm with Pastor Tom Dooley officiating. Calling hours will be from 10:00am - 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Palmyra West Cemetery in Diamond, OH.
