After a courageous battle with cancer, Rebecca "Beck" Marie Plyler-Jones age 45, passed away at her home in Newton Falls on Friday October 14, 2016 surrounded by friends and family. She leaves behind her devoted husband Dustin J. Jones; two sons, Cody and Levi Plyler-Jones and a daughter; Violette Plyler-Jones. Rebecca was born August 8, 1971 in Warren, OH to the late Robert Gilbert Plyler and Amy Teresa (Sweet) Plyler. She grew up in a large family of three brothers and five sisters who together were raised by father Robert and step-mother Valerie Plyler. Rebecca was a graduate of Mathews High School and attended both Youngstown State University and Kent State University Trumbull. Always interested in numbers, she ultimately excelled at working for various banks in the area and was the first person friends and family called during tax season. Rebecca was dedicated, trustworthy and always eager to help others. Her intelligence, sharp wit and knack for story telling made her one of a kind. Most importantly, Rebecca was a driven homemaker to her husband and three children who never went without a home cooked meal or a birthday cake made from scratch. Rebecca kept a comfortable and welcoming home that was often headquarters for the neighborhood kids. She will be sorely missed by each of them. Rebecca is survived by her husband and children, as well as her sisters Christine (Alan) Vuchak of York, SC, Kelly Plyler of Cortland, Melinda (Joshua) Smith of Vienna and Elizabeth Plyler of Vienna; her brothers Robert (Tracy) Plyler of Brookfield, Michael (Kim) Plyler of Vienna, David (Vickie) Plyler of Brookfield, Justin Stilson of Florida and Jason Stilson of Boardman, OH , 2 granddaughters: Alessa & Auna and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving step-mother Valerie Plyler of Vienna who raised Rebecca from 8 years old. Rebecca will also be dearly missed by: Aaron (Dego), Tiffany, and Evan (Roho). She is preceded in death by her birth parents and her beloved sister Violet Plyler. Rebecca wished to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at the family's home on Saturday October 22, 2016 where friends and family may gather together to celebrate the life of a woman whose smile will never be forgotten.
