Richard W. Jordan, age 82 of Southington entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Briarfield at the Ridge. Richard was born in Greenville, PA on October 10, 1928, the son of Charles & Ellen (Olmstead) Jordan Sr. Richard grew up in Garrettsville where he graduated high school. Richard then went to Warren Business College where he earned his BA in accounting. He worked in the accounting department at Republic Steel for 38 years. Richard was a member of the Braceville Methodist Church and he enjoyed string art. Memories of Richard will be carried on by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles & Sandra Jordan of Braceville, brother-in-law, James & Mary Kay Paisley of Auburn Twp., three nieces and five nephews. Richard was preceeded in death by his sister, Donna Paisley. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Drew McPeek will be officiating. Burial will be at Windham Cemetery.
