Richard Wallace Smalley, 47 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at his residence of heart complications. Richard was born in Warren on December 20, 1965, the son of James & Penny (Powell) Smalley. Richard was a B.O.F. Melter at WCI then RG Steel for 23 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching racing, traveling, repairing computers for friends and he had a knack for teasing people all in good fun. His greatest pleasure was taking care of his dog, Louie and his cat, Lizzie. Loving memories of Richard will be carried on by his mother, Penny J. Smalley of Newton Falls, daughters, Rachel & Eric Terwilliger of South Korea, Danelle A. Smalley of Newton Falls, his brother, Robert Smalley of Boardman and many neices and nephews. Richard was preceeded in death by his father, James Smalley. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Richard will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
