Robert Lee "Commando" Brewer, 61 of Newton Falls, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Southington on July 27, 1963; the son of the late Charles and Pearl Mary (Ford) Brewer.

Robert was a lifetime area resident and after high school graduation he went into the trades becoming an electronics technician for the State of Ohio, retiring in 2011. He was also a  H.A.M Radio operator and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Warren. He married his wife, the former Christine Knight on August 6, 1982. Together they shared 42 years of marriage. Also surviving Robert are his two daughters; Jennifer Lynn Brewer of Cleveland and Erin Marie Brewer of Newton Falls; a son, Robert Charles Brewer of Newton Falls and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jack Swope.

There will be no calling hours or services at this time and cremation will take place. The family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to  help offset funeral costs.
