Robert (Bob) A. Tessean, age 73 of Paris Township passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday March 14, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 24, 1952 in Youngstown, OH the son of the late William F. Tessean and Barbara L. (McCracken) Tessean. Bob has lived in Paris Township since 1968, formerly of North Jackson.  Bob married the love of his life Heather L. (Ferguson) Tessean on September 30, 1972. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1970 and worked as a truck driver for Pennzoil Products Co. for 22 years until it closed, then Ergon Trucking for 6 years, and finally at Miner Tractor Sales in Edinburg for 7 years until his retirement in 2013. Bob loved farming whether working the land or with animals and enjoyed volunteering in the community working with 4-H and other activities. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister: Patricia Harnar.

Bob is survived by his wife, Heather; son, Ryan (Michele) Tessean; daughter, Megan Tessean; and grandchildren Brooke and Zachary all of Paris Township. In addition, Bob has one surviving sibling Richard (Marjorie) Tessean; sister-in-law Melanie (Stanley) Strickland; brother-in-laws, Derek Ferguson and Charles Harnar in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at Hawley Cemetery for the immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be at the Shearer Community Center located at 9355 Newton Falls Rd. Ravenna, OH 44266 on Saturday May 24, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00pm in Bob's honor. Bob's last request is to hug someone you love.
