Roger L. (Duke) Polly, age 64 of Lordstown entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren with his family by his side. Roger was born in Neon, KY on March 8, 1949, the son of Russell Eugene Polly & Lenore (Holbrook) Polly. He has lived in Lordstown for 35 years formerly of Neon, KY. Roger married the former Earnestine (Bo) Gibson on November 14, 1972, and they have enjoyed 40 years of marriage together. Roger retired in 2006 after 37 years as a steelworker with WCI. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls. Roger enjoyed puzzles, fishing, baseball, and he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians. Loving memories of Roger will be carried on by his mother, Lenore M. Polly of Lordstown, his wife, Earnestine (Bo) Polly of Lordstown, son and daughter-in-law, Roger M. & Bonnie Polly of Lordstown and two grandchildren. Roger was preceded in death by his father, his daughter, Lisa Marie Polly and his brother, Mack Polly. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls. Pastor Mitch Meadors will be officiating the service.
