Roger B. Rogos, age 76 of Sarasota, FL formerly of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2017 from complications of cancer. Roger was a 1958 graduate of Newton Falls High School, After high school he enrolled and graduated from Wittenberg University. Roger was a teacher and basketball coach in Champion, ran his father's business, Rogos Motors in Newton Falls and was a financial advisor with American Express Financial Services. Roger enjoyed playing basketball, was an avid golfer, playing in the golf league at Prestancia Country Club, he enjoyed working out, playing the stocks, and traveling. Roger was an Elvis fan and lover of Italian food. Loving memories of Roger will be carried on by his wife Linda Rogos of Sarasota, FL whom he married on June 9, 1962 and was his partner and the love of his life, son & daughter-in-law, Randall and Sarah Rogos of Denver, CO, daughter & son-in-law, Lauri and Hal Lewis of St. Augustine, FL, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. Roger will be laid to rest at Newton Fall Cemetery.
