Ronald Lee Furbee age 66 of Middlefield passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday April 10, 2026. He was born on Dec. 13, 1959 in Warren, OH the son of the late Alfred Raymond Furbee Sr. and Geraldine (Volhardt) Furbee. Ron lived in Middlefield for the last 3 years formerly of Warren where he went to Champion High School. After high school, he served his country in the US Army with the 567 th Engineer Company from 1977- 1979. He then worked as a Welder/ multi- tradesman for various different companies over the years. Ron loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, camping, his cat Soldier, loved Jesus Christ, and was a avid Christian. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers: Alfred Jr., Charles, and Jamie Furbee.

He is survived by: 2 daughters: Jerica Furbee, Ashley Lucey, 2 sons: Joshua Furbee, and Jason Furbee all of West Virginia, 1 brother: Scott Furbee of Champion, his grandchildren, a special nephew: Chuck & Brianna Furbee of Newton Falls, and many other nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Services will be at a late date and time. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516 in his memory.
