Ronald "Tubby" Lyle Griffith, age 56, of Ravenna passed away into eternal life on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1961, in Ravenna, Richard Lee Griffith & Marilyn Jean (Kelly) Griffith. Ronald lived in Paris Twp. for 27 years working as a welder for East Manufacturing for over 36 years. He was a member of The Teamster Union #24. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, history, astrology, meteorology, target shooting, watching football, talking about the military and hanging out with his friends. Ronald was a muscle car enthusiast, life long member of the NRA, The North American Fishing Club and the Paris Rod and Gun Club. Memories of Ronald will be carried on by his loving family; his parents Richard & Marilyn Griffith of Ravenna, his daughters; Danielle Griffith of Newton Falls, Madison Griffith of Ravenna and his sister Rhonda Griffith of Houston, TX. Ronald is preceded in death by his brother Richard Griffith Jr. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Thursday. Cremation will follow and Ronald will be laid to rest in Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp, OH.
