Ruth L. Bungard, age 87, of Diamond passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Hospice House in Poland. Ruth was born on December 21, 1925 in Lake Milton the daughter of the late Donald W. Porter and Esther (Hugli) Porter. She lived in Lake Milton all her life where she raised her family with her late husband Robert L. Bungard. They were married on January 8, 1947, he passed away after 41 years together on September 23, 1988. She was a memeber of the American Legion Post #737 Ladies Auxilary. She was a member of the Lake Milton Baptist Temple. Besides spending time with her family, she liked to do flower arranging, gourmet cooking and gardening. Cherished memories of Ruth will be carried on by her daughter: Beverly Smith, Diamond, her son and daughter in law: Robert L. & Kimberly Bungard, Jr., Austintown, OH and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, and 1 brother Donald E. Porter. The family will recieve friends at the Lake Milton Baptist Temple South St. Rt 534 Diamond, Ohio 44412 on Tuesday March 19, 2013 from 5-7PM where funeral services will be held Wednesday March 20, 2013 at 11:00AM with viewing one hour prior. She will be laid to rest beside her husand Robert at Newton Falls Cemetery.
