Ruth Elizabeth Hilbrunner age 94 formerly of Brimfield, OH passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Friday August 19, 2011 at 7:40AM. She was born on May 23, 1917 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH the daughter of the late Carl M. Mengel and Ada R. (Wark) Mengel. Ruth married the love of her life William K. Hilbrunner on Nov. 15, 1939 and he passed away after 45 years of marriage in Dec. 1984. She has lived most of her life in Brimfield, OH where she was a Beautician/ Homemaker. She was a member of the Kent Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness' for many years. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, 1 daughter Randa Sue Hilbrunner. Memories of Ruth will be carried on by her loving family; her daughter Lynda & David Merkel of Newton Falls; her son William & Pat Hilbrunner of Ravenna; 6 grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Kent Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 1625 Athena Drive Kent, OH 44240 on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 7:00pm with Elder Arden Just officiating. Ruth will be laid to rest next to her husband William at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
