BRACEVILLE; Ruth Ann Hopkins, 73 of Warren passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday April 11, 2015 at Gillette Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. Ruth Ann was born on June 11, 1941 in Mingo Junction, OH the daughter of the late Donald Vincent Stewart & Hazel Belle (Summerville) Uber. She graduated from Fowler High School and then served in the US Army. Ruth Ann lived most of her life in the Warren area, where she worked at Packard Electric for 28 years. She was a member of the White Shrine, Amaranth and was a past Worthy Matron of Leading Star Chapter # 79 Order of Eastern Star in Newton Falls. Ruth Ann was an avid reader. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Anna Kathleen Hopkins, and her brother, Robert Stewart. Memories of her will be carried on by her loving family; her sister & brother-in-law Donna & Darrell Dennison of Braceville; her brother & sister-in-law Rev. James & Sue Stewart of Burghill; and several nieces & nephews. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Eastern Star services will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM prior to calling hours. Funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Thursday April 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Ruth Ann will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Vienna. The family has requested that contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice Valley View, 9775 Rockside Rd., Suite 270, Valley View, OH 44125.
