Ruth Helen Yeager of Seaside, Oregon, formally of Newton Falls OH went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning May 18, 2024 at her daughters home.  She was born on April 21, 1936 in Southington, OH the daughter of the late George Edward Nichols, and Hazel May (Miller) Nichols. Ruth was a graduate of Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1954, was a beautician for 12 years and was employed at GE Ohio Lamp in Warren, Ohio for 25 years. She was married to Carl S. Yeager on July 18, 1975 and shared 46 wonderful years of marriage until he passed away on April 26, 2022.  Ruth attended Newton Falls First Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening, motorcycling with Carl for many years, camping with the Ohio Good Sams, and traveling to California, Washington, Oregon, and Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, her  husband, Carl S. Yeager, 1  sister, Vivian Brown, 1 brother, Donald Nichols, and brother-in-law Gerald Calland.

Memories of Ruth will be carried on in the hearts of her daughters Deborah (Chris) Linamen, Chino Hills, CA, Rhonda Elston, Seaside, OR and son, Douglas Brown, Cannon Beach, OR, stepdaughter and stepson, Sheryl  (Mark) Gamble Hudson, OH, and Carl S. Yeager Jr, of FL, along with 9  grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, sister, Wilma Calland, Newton Falls, and brother-in-law, Doug Brown, North Jackson, OH

Private family services will be held. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Carl at Berlin West Cemetery in Berlin Center, OH.
