Sadie Faye Winkleman, 73, of Leavittsburg passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Country Club Rehabilitation Center in Newton Falls. She was born on February 15, 1952, in Wytheville, Virginia, the daughter of the late Dewey and Ellen (Hagee) Neese.

A lifetime area resident, Sadie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Eastern Star Chapter 181. Sadie enjoyed reading, traveling, watching reality TV, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Sadie married William Winkleman on January 14, 2000. They shared 17 years of marriage until William's passing on August 21, 2017. Also preceding Sadie in death are her parents, a daughter, Suzan, six sisters, and four brothers. Sadie is survived by her daughters; Crystal (Nicholas) Gaynor of Streetsboro OH, Laura (Richard) Peterson of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania and Melyssa Winkleman of Warren OH; two sisters; Ginger Meckler of Newton Falls OH and Linda Plymale of Apex, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; Anissa Carter, Tiana Carter, Lance (Sandy) Higgins, Brayden Higgins, Dylan Peterson, Autumn (Zachary) Kraus, Abigail (Taylor) Kemp, Dalton Peterson, Paul Smith Jr., Malaynna Smith, Makila Smith, Antonina Daniels and Aaron Perry Jr., ten great grandchildren, Aiden, Adrianna, Ellianna, Aurianna, Isabella, Oliver, Lily, Rook, Archer and Ainsley.

The family will receive friends at James Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4-6 pm, with an Eastern Star Service at 5:45 pm. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home.
