Shirley Mae Shade, age 75, of Youngstown passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday Oct. 6, 2010 at 6:00 am from natural causes. Shirley was born on July 13, 1935 in Mineral Ridge , OH the daughter of the late Edgar Fetty and Bessie Clair (Hoy) Fetty. She married the love of her life Theodore Eugene Shade on Jan. 6, 1975 and he passed away after 30 years of marriage on Dec. 29, 2005. As a homemaker Shirley loved cooking, baking, collecting knickknacks, gardening, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Highway Tabernacle Church in Austintown where she was a greeter, and was a member of the Senior Citizens Group for many years. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Louis M. Bryant III, 4 sisters: Roma Hatcher, Noralee Nemes, Florence J. Hallock, Charmalee Fetty, & 5 Brothers: Jack, Eddy, James, Samuel, Floyd Fetty. Two Daughters: Mike & Karen Cardelein of Youngstown, OH Sandra Whitlam of Kent, OH Four Sons: Rodney A. Shade of Youngstown, OH Michael Bryant of Austintown, OH Tom & Teri Bryant of Kent, OH Stew Bryant of Chula Vista, CA One Step Son: Jeffrey & Jeannie Shade of Boardman, OH Two Brothers: William & Donna Fetty of North Jackson, OH Donald & Beverly Fetty of Newton Falls, OH 42 Grand Children 19 Great-Grand Children In Keeping with Shirley wishes- graveside services will be held at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp, OH on Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Joel J. Theis Sr. will be officating the services. The family request that all donations go to the American Heart Association 15120 Collections Center Drive Chicago, IL 60693.
