Shirley A. Wilson age 83 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at the Tamarack Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Kent, OH.   She was born on May 22, 1939 in Monongahela Twp, PA the daughter of the late George T. Bowser and Alberta B. (Ewart) Bowser.  Shirley married the love of her life, James A. Wilson on Aug. 22, 1959, and they have enjoyed the past 63 years of marriage together.  She had lived in Newton Falls since 2006, formerly of Atwater, OH.   Shirley loved interior decorating, hair styling, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Esther Clark, Bernice Embacher, Helen Fox, 6 brothers: George, Donnie, Bobby, Herman, David, and Danny Bowser.

Shirley is survived by: her husband: James A. Wilson of Newton Falls, 1 daughter: Kimberly & Frank Howell of Newton Falls, 4 sons: James T. & Kris Wilson of Wooster, OH, Jeff & Michelle Wilson of Atwater, OH, Ken Wilson of Atwater, OH, Rick & Shawnee Wilson of Wooster, OH, 1 sister: Joyce Baker of Carmichaels, PA, 2 brothers: Chuck & Mickey Bowser of Nemacolin, PA,  John Bowser of Nemacolin, PA, 1 aunt: Betty Jean Morgan of Washington, PA, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at 11:00am.  Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Monday April 24, 2023 from 3:00- 6:00pm and also one hour before the funeral. She will be laid to rest at Atwater Cemetery in Atwater, OH.
