Susan Kay (Lane) Clonch, age 73 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 2, 2016 at home. Susan was born on December 9, 1942 in Newton Falls, the daughter of the late Virgil & Lillie (Kay) Lane. Susan has lived in the Newton Falls, Paris Twp. area her entire life. Susan married her high school sweetheart, Roy Clifford Clonch Sr. on October 22, 1960. Susan and Roy were blessed with 55 amazing years of marriage. Susan retired in 1997 after 33 years with Packard Electric. After retiring they became "Snowbirds" enjoying their winters at their second home in Florida. Susan was a member of the Newton Falls United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Newton Falls High School, member of the Newton Falls Covered Bridge CB Club and Paris Pacesetters. Susan enjoyed gardening, canning, boating, wine making and traveling. Susan and Roy have traveled to every state including Hawaii and Alaska. Her greatest passion was knitting, especially personalized Christmas stockings for every married couple and babies which totaled almost 200 in all. Loving memories of Susan will be carried on by her husband, Roy C. Clonch Sr. of Newton Falls, daughters, Christine (Steve) Forepaugh of Newton Falls, Judith "Judy" Nagella of Ravenna, son, Roy (Jennifer) Clonch Jr. of Newton Falls, son-in-law, Richard Wagner of Newton Falls, sister-in-law, Susie Lane of Warren, grandchildren, Stephany (Cody) Simmons, Sheena Wagner, Libby Forepaugh, Ben Forepaugh, Stephanie Forepaugh, Sara Forepaugh, Dominic (Farah) Nagella, Gina Nagella, Daniel Sanders, Jacquline (James) Terry, Kyle Clonch, Christy Collier, Leslie McDonald, Alisha McDonald, 11 great grandchildren and numerous friends that are considered family. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Barbara Ann Wagner, sisters, Dorothy Clonch, Sandy Black and brothers, Robert "Gene", Harold, and Gary Lane. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Newton Falls United Methodist Church, 336 Ridge Rd., Newton Falls, OH 44444. Susan will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
