Teresa Ann Powell, age 52 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Hospice House in Poland. On September 17, 1959 in Elkins, WV, Berthel & Barbara (Pingley) Cutright were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Teresa. She has lived in Newton Falls for 15 years, formerly of Lusby, MD. Teresa married George F. Powell Sr. on December 31, 1981. They have been married for 29 wonderful years. Teresa enjoyed being a wife, mother, reading and cooking. Loving memories of Teresa will be carried on by her husband, George F. Powell Sr. of Newton Falls, daughter, Kaitlyn Powell of Newton Falls, son, Kyle Powell of Newton Falls, stepdaughter, Cecelia (Kip) Sage of Waldorf, MD, stepson, George Powell Jr. of Chicago, IL, brother, Timothy (Alicia) Cutright of Newton Falls and four grandchildren. Teresa was preceeded in death by her mother. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Satruday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Dr. Ryan Hetzer will be officiating the service. Teresa will be laid to rest at Lutheran Cemetery in Newton Falls.
