Thelma L. (Hofus) DeZee age 88 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday June 21, 2010 at 2:05am at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls. She was born on February 24, 1922 in Lake Milton, OH, the daughter of George H. & Verna D. (Forder) Hofus. She married William Feeney in 1951 and he passed away in 1957; she then married Edward L. DeZee on June 9, 1958 and he passed away after 43 years of marriage on November 3, 2001. She has lived in the Lake Milton area all her life. She was a Beautician; and owned Bill's Place in Austintown, OH. She was a member of the Eastern Star Palmy Chapter since 1940. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Forder & George Hofus and 1 sister Kathryn L. Forney. She is survived by one niece Sally & Ron Smolek. Thelma wishes were to have no calling hours. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at Palmyra West Cemetery in Diamond, OH.
