Thomas William Ritter, age 77 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Joseph's Health Center. Thomas was born on March 15, 1939 at home in Windham, OH the son of William & Ella (Harbison) Ritter. Thomas married the former Joanne M. Snyder on August 18, 1979. Thomas and Joanne have been blessed with 37 wonderful years of marriage. Thomas was employed in his younger years in auto body repair with his Dad. He then did TV repair and was a custodian at the Newton Falls First Church of God where he was also a member. Thomas enjoyed working on cars and watching westerns. Loving memories of Thomas will be carried on by his wife, Joanne Ritter of Newton Falls, daughter, Tamie Walason of Winter Springs, FL, sons; Danny Hiles of Madison, John Britton of Youngstown, sister, Judy Twigg of Ravenna, brothers; James Ritter of Leavittsburg, Philip Ritter of Newton Falls, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Starcher and his grandson, Louis Starcher. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the First Church of God, 426 W. Broad, Newton Falls, OH 44444 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the church.
