Thomas Lee Stewart, age 62 of Windham entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 15, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side. Thomas was born on June 3, 1953 in Warren, the son of Raymond & Marietta (Gardner) Stewart. Thomas married the former Bonnie Gail Blake on Valentine's Day February 14, 1975. Thomas and Bonnie have been blessed with 41 years of wonderful marriage. He was also a volunteer fire fighter and EMT with the Windham Fire Department for 22 years. Thomas was a member of the US Navy and House of Praise Church in Newton Falls. Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends which, he had coffee with at Circle K every morning but his greatest enjoyment was his grandchildren. Loving memories of Thomas will be carried on by his wife, Bonnie G. Stewart of Windham, daughters; Ada Friend of Windham, Kristie Knisely of Windham, Misty (Dan) Henderson of Windham, sons; Michael Stewart of Garrettsville, Dennis (Joellen) Stewart of Garrettsville, James Stewart of Ravenna, sister; Sandy Pirez of Miami, FL and 12 grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Garrett. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm with Brother French McCartney and Pastor Earl Hearns officiating. At 2:00 pm sharp, Thomas will be laid to rest with full military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273.
