Troy Wallace Cook, age 83, of Braceville, OH passed away suddenly at Trumbull Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 1:26 pm. He was born on Feb. 20, 1927 in Bryson City, NC the son of the late Alvin Dock Cook and Ethel Lee (Holloway) Cook. He married the love of his life Patricia Loraine (Williams) Cook on October 3, 1947 and she survives. He has lived in Braceville since 1997, he is formerly of Kentucky and Berlin Center, OH. He was a member of the Boilermakers Local 744 in Cleveland, OH for over 58 years retiring in 1992. Troy enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Fay Williamson, Geneva Smith and 3 brothers Voyn, Bermon, and Delbert Cook. Memories of Troy will be carried on by his loving wife of 62 years: Patricia Loraine Cook of Braceville, OH, 2 Daughters: LaJune Loraine Cook, Braceville, OH, Pamela & Dana Owens, Lordstown, OH, 3 Sons: Troy & Arlene Cook of Pittsburgh, PA, Bill Cook and Mari Coryell of Washougal, WA, Timothy & Sherry Cook of Champion, OH, 1 Sister: Dorothy McGlumphy of Champion, OH, 1 Brother: Cephas & Ethel Cook of Hampton, VA, 4 grandchildren: Elena & Shawn Eaken, Timothy Benjamin Cook, Jenna Cook, Kyle Owens and 1 great grandson: Zachary Eaken. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home on Thursday Aug. 26, 2010 from 7 - 9 PM. There will be a boilermaker service at 8:00PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday Aug. 27, 2010 at 10:30 am. The Rev. Marvin Barney will be officating the service.
