Vicki Jean Prather, age 61 of Youngstown entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. Vicki was born on February 21, 1955 in Louisville, KY the daughter of the Jesse Prather II and Euva Dean Hearn. Vicki lived at Youngstown Developmental Center for 30 years. In October 2016, Vicki moved to Struthers. Vicki was a social butterfly. She loved singing and making people happy. She was always joyful and playful. She loved music, crafts, painting pictures, dancing and social gatherings. She loved Christmas, her birthday and Valentine's Day. Vicki worked at the Fairhaven Workshop all of her adult life. She participated in swimming at the Special Olympics. Loving memories of Vicki will be carried on by her mother, Euva D. Hearn of Leavittsburg, sisters; Irene Noble of Leavittsburg, Rita (Delmar) Smith of Warren, Mary (Kevin) Leeworthy of Warren, brothers; Jesse (Cindy) Prather of Barberton and Robert (Julie) Hearn of Southington. Vicki was preceded in death by her dad, Earl D. Hearn and a nephew, Michael Leeworthy. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Vicki will be laid to rest at Braceville Cemetery.
