Viola M. Bailey age 93 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday Aug 3, 2025 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Assisted Living in Newton Falls.  She was born on Aug. 1, 1932 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late William A. Kinnan and Donna L (Cook) Kinnan.  Viola has lived in Newton Falls her entire life, and graduated from Leavittsburg High School in the Class of 1950.  She married the love of her life, Richard F. Bailey on June 15, 1957, and they have enjoyed 52 years of marriage together until his death on Oct. 30, 2009.  Viola was a housewife, a mother, was an active member of the VFW and owner of Army/Navy Garrison for many years. She was a very great cook and her special spaghetti sauce was loved by her family and will be missed. As she got older she loved her western shows.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, a daughter: Kimberly Peterson, son in law: Daniel Peterson and one sister: Betty L. (Kinnan) Hoffman, brother in law: Charles B. Hoffman.

She is survived by: a niece, Christine Gibson (Gregory) of Lordstown, OH, a nephew, Mark Hoffman (Debbie) of Warren, OH: a great nephew: Nicholas Gibson (Cara) of Leavittsburg, OH, and 2 great nieces: Kaitlin Gibson (Dawson Brown) of Girard, OH and Tiffany Hoffman of Warren, OH

There will be no services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Richard at Newton Falls Cemetery.
