Vivian Angeline (Krugh) Serotko, age 80 formerly of Lordstown passed away peacefully into eternal rest on July 7, 2011 at Omni West Assisted Living Nursing Home in Youngstown. Vivian was born on Oct. 2, 1930 in Warren, the daughter of the late Silvio Alberti and Dosalina (Termine) Alberti. Vivian graduated from Warren G. Harding in 1948. She then married her first husband Buddie J. Krugh on May 28, 1954 . They enjoyed 22 years of marriage together spending many of their later years camping and boating until his death on Sept 26, 1976. She then married her late husband George F. Serotko on Feb. 15, 1986. They enjoyed 24 years together spending many summers in South Carolina & Florida. George passed away on Jan. 18, 2011. Vivian worked in the Finance Department of General Motors from 1965-1986. She was a member of the Braceville United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Lake Milton. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, golfing, bowling, traveling, gaming, watching sporting events, and playing games on her computer. Memories of Vivian will be carried on by her loving children: sons, Gary Krugh and wife Trudi of Braceville, David Krugh of Austintown, and daughter Sharyn and husband Richard Wilms of Braceville; her step sons: Denny Krugh, Ted Krugh, George Serotko Jr. and step daughters, Diane Krugh, Frances Lash, Caroline Fox and husband Patrick, Diane Serotko, Mary Kovach and husband Frank, and one brother Peter Alberti and wife Martha of Lordstown. Vivian is also survived by four grandchildren: Dan Wilms and wife Jennifer of Cortland, Eric Wilms of Cleveland, Buddie Krugh and fiance Kristin of Northridge,California, Nora of Wilmington, NC and two great grandchildren Jacob Wilms and Layla Krugh, and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Per Vivian's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at the Braceville United Methodist Church 577 Park Road SW Braceville Twp, OH 44444 on July 13, 2011 at 11:00 am. Vivian will be laid to rest beside her first husband Buddie at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren. Material contributions may be made in Vivian's name to either the Braceville United Methodist Church, the Special Olympics, or the American Cancer Society.
