Walter Steve Choleva, age 86, of Warren passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. He was born on December 6, 1926 in Port Homer, OH the son of the late Joseph M. Choleva & Victoria (Horney) Choleva. Walter worked as a contractor for Choleva Construction for many years. He was a member of the US Navy serving as a radio operator in the South Pacific. He was also a member of the First Assembly of God in Warren. Memories of Walter will be carried on by his loving family; his daughters & their husbands Cheryl & Gary McIntosh of Bradenton, FL, Barbara & Larry Mangrum of Newton Falls; his sister: Anna Kraus of Cleveland; his brother & his wife Eddie & Judy Choleva of Lordstown, his brother Paul Choleva of Howland; 4 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 11:00AM.
