William (Bill) C. Davies, age 62 of Brimfield, entered into eternal rest on Thursday August 22, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. Bill was born in Warren on October 23, 1950, the son of Robert & Gladys (Mendenhall) Davies. Bill has lived in Brimfield for the past 3 years, formerly of Champion. Bill married the former Karen Jean Gintert on January 25, 1975. They have been married for 38 blessed years. Bill was a retired body shop manager and estimator. Bill grew up in Leavittsburg where he graduated high school. He was a member of the NE Christian Church in Bazetta. He enjoyed spending time with his children, wife and grandchildren and attending family functions. He also enjoyed coin collecting, golfing, basketball, football and baseball. He was an avid N.Y. Yankees fan. Loving memories of Bill will be carried on by his wife, Karen Davies of Brimfield, daughter, Allison (Keith) Wilson of Rootstown, son, Bob (Betsy) Davies of Cumming, GA, sisters, Sherry (James) Upole of Newton Falls, Linda (Ron) Versic of Dayton, brothers, Robert (Edith) Davies of Cleveland, Rick (Denise) Davies of Leavittsburg, grandchildren, Caden, Kelsey, Austyn, and William. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, June B. Rule and his best buddy, Mickey (yellow lab). Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church in Newton Falls. Rev. Calvin Mason will officiate. Bill will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
