LAKE MILTON: William (Bill) J. Davis, age 70 of Lake Milton passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015. He was born on April 4, 1944, in Gingellville, MI, the son of the late Jewel J. Davis & Berneice Mildred (Eckalbar) Davis. He married the love of his life, Pamela Elizabeth Gingher on April 29, 1995 and they enjoyed 19 years of marriage together. Bill had lived most of his life in Ortonville, Michigan and graduated from Lake Orion High School. He then moved to North Jackson and most recently lived in Lake Milton for the past 18 years. He started working as a welder for General Motors in Michigan at age 18 and then at General Motors in Lordstown from 1991 until retiring in 2003. William attended the Berlin Center United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting in Ohio & Michigan, golfing, wood working and traveling to Canada in his childhood days for hunting. Loving memories of William will be carried on by his loving family; his wife Pamela of Lake Milton; his son Michael & Debbie Davis of Goodrich, MI; his step-sons David & Catharine Hardman Jr. of Mogadore, OH, Jonathan Hardman of Akron, OH; his brother Fred & Cathy Davis of Roscommon, MI; 12 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6 to 8PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:30AM. William is preceded in death by 2 sisters: Marlene & Barbara, and 2 brothers Robert & Byron Davis.
