William James Mort, age 65 of Warren passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, July 14, 2014 at his residence. William was born on March 8, 1949 in Youngstown, OH the son of the late William Riley Mort & Elsie Mae (Howk) Mort. Bill lived his entire life in Warren. He retired in 2002 as a bus driver with the Youngstown School District, and was also employed with JoAnn Fabrics. Bill left many friends and will be remembered for his beautiful voice, love of country music, dancing, and impersonations of Elvis Presley. He truly was a kind and gentle man. He is survived by: his daughter, Kara M. Mort of Chicago, IL and his sister and brother-in-law, Dodie & Lee Kale of Warren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters: Betty Langdon, Viola Hudson, Dorothy Mang, Mary Eloph and 1 brother: Adelbert Langdon. Per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be at the Charity Baptist Church 414 School Street Warren, OH 44483 on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at 4:00 pm.
