William A. Winkleman, age 67, was called to his Heavenly home August 21, 2017 surrounded by his family and his wife, Sadie, at his bedside. He was born on September 23, 1949 to his parents Wilma F .(Morgan) & Harold E. Winkleman at home in Southington, Ohio. He was the youngest of six children. He worked as a supervisor for Atlantis Plastics for over 20 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Cortland Masonic Lodge#529, as well as, Eastern Star Opal Chapter. William loved to fish. Memories of William will be carried on by his loving wife, with whom he has been with for 32 years, Sadie Neese Winkleman, his children Laura & (Richard) Peterson of Mercersburg,PA, Suzan & (Dave) Casto of Chillicothe,OH, Crystal & (Nick) Gaynor of Streetsboro,OH, and Melyssa Winkleman of Warren,OH. He is also survived by his brother Harold "Bud" Winkleman of Texarkana,TX. He cherished all of his 16 grandchildren Anissa & (Jake), Dylan, Paul Jr., Autumn & (Zachary), Tiana, Malaynna, Lance, William, Abigail,Christian, Brayden, Electa, Nina, Dalton, Skyler and Aaron Jr. He also has four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Adri, Elli and Oilver. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Faye, Nancy, and Mary Lou and his brother, Dale. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A Masonic Service will immediately follow at 11:00AM followed by Military Services at the funeral home.
