Willis C. Wilson age 88 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday Jan. 29, 2024 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren.  He was born  on Oct 17, 1935 in Monroe, MI the son of the late Scott Riley Wilson and Clara (Ellerman) Wilson-Kordek.  Will had lived in Newton Falls for most of his life, graduating from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1954.  After high school he joined the US Marines and served from 1954- 1957.  Will worked for Daimler Chrysler for over 25 years as a Millwright retiring in 1995.  He was a member of the Pricetown Global Church, the EAA ( Experimental Aircraft Association), and the NRA (National Rifle Association).  Will loved to build airplanes, fishing, riding motorcycles, his cats, his friends, woodworking, his church and especially his family.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, 1 daughter: Cynthia Yost, 1 sister: Bonnie J. Heinzel, and 2 brothers: Gerald & Thomas Wilson.

Will is survived by: 1 daughter: Katherine Hughes of Warren, 2 sons: Steven & Helen Wilson of Amherst, OH, Timothy & Heidi Wilson of Pittsfield, PA, 1 brother: Scott & Kathy Wilson of Newton Falls, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Wednesday Feb. 7, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Frank Zugaro officiating.  Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Tuesday Feb 6, 2024 from 5:00- 7:00pm.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp.  The family has requested that all donations please be made to the Pricetown Global Church 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Rd. Newton Falls. OH 44444 in his memory.
