Winifred Irene (Winnie) White age 94 of Braceville passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at St Joseph Hospital in Warren. She was born on November 2, 1923 the daughter of the late William A. and Ethel Norton Cousins in Buxton, ME. She has lived in Braceville since 1985 formerly of Texas and Maine. Winifred married Donald A. White on April 3, 1941 and he passed away on May 2, 2006. Winnie was a member of the Braceville United Methodist Church where she was very active and was in charge of dinners for several years. She was famous for her pies. Winnie loved to cook and have her family and friends over for dinner. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Winnie is survived by her daughter: Barbara Pritz of Braceville, two sons and daughter- in- laws: Donald A. & Sandra White Jr. of Fultonville, NY and Kenneth A. &  Annette White of New Glouchester, ME, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald A. White Sr. and a granddaughter: Carol White. The family would like all donations to be made to the Braceville United Methodist Church 589 Park Rd. Newton Falls, OH 44444 in memory of Winnie White. Calling hours will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls from 6 to 8 PM on Friday May 4, 2018 where Funeral services will be Saturday May 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Winifred will be laid to rest beside her husband Donald in Braceville Cemetery.
