Obituary

Yolanda Nussle age 93 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday March 30, 2026 at the Gillette Nursing Home in Warren. She was born on May 17, 1932 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Hursh Yost and Betty (Peticrew) Yost. Yolanda married the love of her life, Walter K. Nussle on Dec 3, 1955 and they enjoyed 66 years of wonderful marriage together until Walt passed away on Oct. 9, 2021. She lived in Newton Falls for most of her life and was the owner and operator with her husband of Nussle Florist and Greenhouses in Newton Falls for more than 40 years until her retirement. Yolanda was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Newton Falls, and the Order of the Eastern Star Leading Star Chapter #79. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Yetta Foster & her husband Walter.

Yolanda is survived by: 3 sons: Scott & Debbie Nussle of Newton Falls, Jeffrey & Jill Nussle of Cortland, Brian & Deanna Nussle of Newton Falls, and 5 grandchildren: Justin, Jason, Sean, Stephanie, and Zachary.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday April 2, 2026 at 7:00pm with Jim Luonuansuu officiating. Calling hours will be from 6:00 - 7:00pm. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Walt at Newton Falls Cemetery.
