Andrew M. Piroch age 86 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday Nov. 3, 2023, at his home. He was born on Sept. 19, 1937, in New Kensington, PA, the son of the late Andrew Piroch and Ann (Slusar) Piroch. Andy married the love of his life, Mary F. Remaley on Dec. 30, 1960, and they have enjoyed the past 63 years of marriage together.
 
He grew up in New Kensington, PA where he graduated from Ken High, class of 1956. After high school, he joined the US Army and served from 1960 to 1964. He has lived in Newton Falls since 1974. Andy worked as an Assembler at General Motors Lordstown for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.
 
He enjoyed golfing with his kids and friends, woodcarving, watching Pittsburgh Steelers football, vacationing with family, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He was best known for his presence in the Newton Falls baseball community. His tenure started when having just moved to Newton Falls, his oldest son’s baseball team was in need a coach and Andy volunteered. He coached each of his sons through the Pony League and moved up to the Colt League with his youngest and continued coaching long after his boys graduated high school. Andy coached for over 20 years and was president of the Hot Stove League. He was affectionately called Coach P. and every player that played for him became part of his family and he loved all his boys. 

Andrew is preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother: George Piroch. 

He is survived by his wife: Mary F. Piroch of Newton Falls, 3 sons: Andrew & Patricia Piroch of Austintown, OH, Mark & Juiquetta Piroch of Toledo, OH, Todd & Ginger Piroch of Austintown, OH, 1 brother: Eddie & Jodie Piroch of New Kensington, PA, 5 grandchildren: Mark Andrew, Justin, Garrett, Beckie, T.J., 1 great grandson: Markie with another great grandson Roy, on the way, and his best friends Dick and Mary Helena Balog.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
