Anna Mae Fleeman age 77 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday Feb 5, 2024 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Newton Falls. She was born on June 7, 1946 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Andrew Fleeman and Julia (Cybak) Fleeman. Anna had lived in Newton Falls her entire life and graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1964. She worked for AVI Food Systems as line cook/ cashier at the GM Plant in Lordstown for 28 years retiring in 2000. Anna was a faithful member of the St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church where she taught religion classes, CCD, and RCIA classes. She loved painting, cooking, and doing things for her church. Anna is preceded in death by her parents,
She is survived by: 2 sisters: Patricia & Roy Harvey of Newton Falls, Rose Bartlett of Newton Falls, and 1 brother: Harry & Theresa Fleeman of Ravenna, OH.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday Feb. 9, 2024 at 12:00pm with Father David Merzweiler officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:00am - 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest with her parents at St. Joseph Cemetery in Newton Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made to the St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church 131 West Quarry St. Newton Falls, OH 44444 in her name.
