Carol J. Knowlton age 81 of Newton Falls passed away on Tuesday July 4, 2023 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born on May 18, 1942 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Charles F. Fenton and Zella V (Gardner) Fenton. Carol married the love of her life, Charles Edward Knowlton on Aug 24, 1958 and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together. She and her husband Charles have lived in Newton Falls for over 40 years, formerly of Berlin Twp, OH. Carol enjoyed being a homemaker/housewife and raising their 5 children. She also loved cooking, baking, dancing and traveling with her husband. Carol was a faithful member of the Newton Falls First Church of God where she was a prayer warrior for all people, and doing the funeral luncheons for families after funerals. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Charles R. Knowlton, John Knowlton, 1 sister: Edna Sevier and 2 brothers: Glenn Fenton and Charles Fenton Jr.
Carol is survived by: her husband: Charles E. Knowlton of Newton Falls, 1 daughter: Tammy & Brett VanArsdale of Broken Arrow, OK, 2 sons: David & Shari Knowlton of Warren, Daniel & Joy Knowlton of Warren, 1 sister: Patricia Hudnell of Warren, 8 grandchildren: Jessica Greathouse, Daniel Scott, Alaina Scott, Megan Knowlton, Ashley Johnson, Tina Duncan, Brandi Bohazi, Caitlyn Knowlton, and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Newton Falls First Church of God on Saturday July 8, 2023 at 1:00pm with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating. Calling hours will be two hours prior to service time from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Carol will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the First Church of God 426 West Broad St. Newton Falls, OH 44444 in her memory.
