Isabella L. (Dawson) Dieter

Isabella L. Dieter age 98 of Braceville passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday morning Oct. 22, 2023 at the Community Skilled Nursing Home in Warren.  She was born on Sept. 15, 1925 in Leavittsburg, OH the daughter of the late Chester Dawson and Grace N. (Watkins) Dawson.  Isabella had lived in the Leavittsburg/ Braceville area most of her life.  She married the love of her life, Ralph J. Dieter on Nov. 20, 1946 and they enjoyed 48 years marriage together until he passed away on April 20, 1994.  Isabella was a long-time member of the Braceville Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years.  She loved all types of flowers, knitting, sewing, quilting. and watching the birds in her backyard.  Isabella is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph, 1 son: Jerry Dieter, and 2 sisters: Naomi Harper and Willa Jaros.

She is survived by: 1 daughter: Donna & Jim Fait of Pagosa Springs, CO, 2 sons: Randall & Patricia Dieter of Braceville, Alan & Phyllis Dieter of Warsaw, OH, 1 step son: Ralph & Alberta Dieter of Bedford, NH, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at the Braceville Christian Church on Thursday Oct. 26, 2023 at 1:00pm with Pastor John Jaros officiating.  Calling hours will be from 11:00am - 1:00pm. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Ralph at Braceville Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made to the Braceville Christian Church 4387 Church St. SW Newton Falls, OH 44444 in her memory.
