Joyce Marie Shanower, age 77 of Niles passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Windsor House of Champion. She was born on July, 8, 1946 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Fred J. Shanower and Dorothy M. (Archer) Shanower. Joyce has lived in Niles all of her life, and worked as a bar maid at Rainbow Lanes Bowling Alley in Warren for many years. She also worked at SCOPE in Warren for many years. Joyce enjoyed reading, watching TV, and playing bingo. She is preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: David & Fred Shanower.

She is survived by: 1 brother: Robert Shanower of Warren, her cousin Wanda & Ken Simmons of Newton Falls, and many others cousins.

Per Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. She will be laid to rest beside her parents at Jackson Twp. Cemetery in North Jackson, OH.
