Katherine E. (Sumner) Pepper

Katherine Evelyn "Tootsie" Pepper, 84 of Newton Falls passed away  Friday morning on November 3, 2023. She was born in Warren on September 6, 1939; the daughter of the of late Arthur and Kate Sumner.

A lifetime area resident, Tootsie grew up in Warren and attended Howland High School. She was a member of the Pricetown Methodist Church and was known by many while working at the I-77 Antique Mall.

On December 21, 1960, she married her husband, Jerrie Dwayne Pepper. Together they shared 52 years of marriage until his passing on June 5, 2013.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Shanna (Brad) Lewis and her three grandsons, Samuel, Austin and Alex Lewis. She leaves behind her sister Audrey Ruddy of Warren and sister in law Carol Moyer of Ravenna.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Terrie L. Pepper.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a small private service at their home on November 18th between 1-7 P.M.
