Paul Edward Radaker

Paul Edward Radaker, age 92, who lived in Newton Falls for 45 years, passed away peacefully on April 21 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on June 2, 1930, in Dutch Hill, PA, the son of the late Blair Milton Radaker and Larue (Ross) Radaker. Paul married the former Dorene L. Burford on June 19, 1954, and they enjoyed many years of marriage together. He lived in Newton Falls from 1973 to 2018. Before then, he lived in Warren, PA, and Warren, OH. He lived his final five years in Warren, OH, and Indianapolis. Paul worked as a carpenter throughout his life, including 20 years in the carpenter shop at WCI steel in Warren, OH, until his retirement in 1995. He served his country in the US Army, and was a member of the Newton Falls First Church of God. Paul loved fishing, hunting, and using his carpentry skills to build homes and help people in need. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Grant (Mary) Radaker, Bruce (Mae) Radaker, and 2 sisters: Leoda (Byron) Kriebel, Mrytle (Bill) Shipman.

Paul is survived by: his wife, Dorene L. Radaker, 3 sons: Kevin (Linda) Radaker of Noblesville, IN, Gregory (Linda) Radaker of Dewey, OK, Eric (Lisa) Radaker of Akron, OH, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Per Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at Newton Falls First Church of God on May 4 at 3:00 pm; visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:50 in the narthex and there will be a reception immediately after the memorial service. Reverend Jennifer Dorn will be officiating. Paul will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in memory of Paul E. Radaker.
