Robert T. Eakins Jr. age 75 of Braceville passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday Aug. 1, 2023 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. He was born on Nov. 11, 1947 in Warren, OH the son of the late Robert Eakins Sr. and Gwendolyn (Doolittle) Eakins. Robert married the love of his life, Lula Mae Lambert on Sept. 25, 1968 and they enjoyed 41 years of marriage together until she passed away on Oct. 15, 2009. He has lived in Braceville since 2012, formerly of Leavittsburg, OH for many years. Robert worked as a laborer for General Motors in Lordstown for over 25 years retiring in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, doing yardwork, and being in the outdoors. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lula, 1 sister: Barbara Eakins, and 3 brothers: John, Richard, and Jeff Eakins.
He is survived by: 1 son: James & Barbara Eakins of Newton Falls, 1 sister: Kathy & Lester Lampman of Leavittsburg, OH, and 1 brother: Gary Eakins of Newton Falls.
Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
