Robert N. Miller age 74 of Diamond passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday morning March 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born on June 11, 1948 in Charleston, WV the son of the late Harry Norton Miller and Cora May (White) Miller. Bob had lived in Diamond since 1978, formerly of Braceville and Newton Falls. He graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1966. After high school, he served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 - 1970. Bob married the love of his life, Loretta May Wilson on Jan 16, 1970, and they have enjoyed the past 53 wonderful years of marriage together. When he returned home from Vietnam, he started working for General Motors in Lordstown as a assembler and worked there for 31 years retiring in 2001. Bob & Loretta also owned and operated Diamond Highland Farms since 1978, and was a proud member of the Ohio Cattlemen's Association for many years. He loved farming, feeding his cattle, woodworking, all types of construction and general handyman, antiquing, and building his model train sets in his basement. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother: John E. Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta M. Miller of Diamond, OH, 2 sons: Christopher & Elizabeth Miller of Diamond, Robert & Rebecca Miller of Champion, OH, 1 daughter: Lori & Ben George of Browns Summit, NC, 2 sisters: Betty & Ed Airwyke of Powell, OH, Karen & Alan Gardner of Cortland, OH, 7 grandchildren: Tayler, Calliope, Bret, Berlin, Luca, Liam, and Colten.
Cremation has taken place per Robert's wishes. A Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date and time. Vernon, ME 04352 in Bob's name.
