Thomas H. Nash age 76 of Windham passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday Sept. 2, 2023 at the University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, OH. He was born on Dec. 1, 1946 in Cleveland, OH the son of the late George Nash and Blanche (Evans) Nash. Tom has lived in Windham the last 21 years, formerly of Kent, OH. He graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in the Class of 1965, and after high school he joined the US Army serving during the Vietnam War from 1965- 1969. Tom then married the love of his life, Sandra L. Ellis on May 14, 1982 and they have enjoyed the past 41 years of marriage together. He worked as a Warehouseman at General Electric in Ravenna for 20 years retiring in 2008. Tom was a life member of the American Legion #674 in Windham, OH, and he loved bowling, playing pool, fishing, golfing, softball, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He is preceded in death by only his parents. Per Tom's request he asked for people not to wear black the day of the services.

Nash of Windham, OH, 2 daughters: Kelly & Mike Bailey of Safety Harbor, FL, Kristina Nash-Cantrell & Jeff Cantrell of Shalersville, OH, 2 sons: Jesse and his fiancé (Colleen Bosse) of Palm Harbor, FL, Erik & Aleecia Nash of Shalersville, OH, 2 sisters, 9 nieces and nephews and 3 grandchildren: Cole, Mason, & Isaac.
Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday Sept. 9, 2023 at 1:00pm with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Friday Sept 8, 2023 from 5:00- 7:00pm. Cremation will follow the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all donations please made to the American Legion Post #674 9960 East Center St. Windham, OH 44288 in Tom's memory.
