William M. Roupe

William M. Roupe Jr. age 65 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday April 2, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on Nov. 22, 1957 in Warren, OH the son of William M. Roupe Sr. and Shirley Ann (Stewart) Roupe-Cole.  Bill had lived in Newton Falls for the last 20 years, formerly of Windham where he graduated from Windham High School in the Class of 1975.  He worked in the Maintenance Dept. at Zircoa Inc in Solon for 42 years retiring in 2016. Bill was a member of the Amvets Post #112 in Newton Falls.  He loved to go golfing, fishing, hunting, playing softball, and watching football especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Bill is preceded in death by only his father William M. Roupe Sr.

He is survived by: his mother Shirley A. Cole of Newton Falls, 4 sisters: Debra & Wayne Burns of Newton Falls, Kay Day of Corryton, TN, Kimberly Shumaker of Newton Falls, Tonja & Jim Kellar of Newton Falls, 1 step-brother Michael Newport of FL, 2 god sons, and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life Service will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday April 7, 2023 at 7:00pm with Pastor Brad Edder officiating.  Calling hours will be from 4:00- 7:00pm.  He will be laid to rest at Windham Twp. Cemetery. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY 10016-5337 in his memory.
