Our Facilities

Through four generations, the James Funeral Home has been serving the Newton Falls area with dignity and compassion. We are an independently owned, family operated, full-service funeral home providing traditional, cremation, and memorial services. We also sell monuments and markers.

After an electrical fire that destroyed our original landmark building on November 24, 2000, we rebuilt an elegant new funeral home with many improved features. This state-of-the-art, handicap accessible facility offers a kid's play room, two viewing areas, a chapel, BOSE sound system, and a lower-level fellowship hall that seats 80 and is available for lunches and dinners at no charge.

Family is such an important part of our lives. When a death occurs, most feel most comfortable surrounded by family and friends. Our mission is to make your experience with us as comfortable as we can. We want you to feel like you're a part of our family, which is we try to provide a homelike atmosphere. We try to lessen the stress and burdens as much as possible, by letting each family plan and individualize the funeral they want for their loved one.

The James Funeral Home has many other moderately priced options available—with the very finest services and facilities that surpass any other local funeral home. If you have already made your pre-arrangements with another funeral home, we will accept the transfer of your policy so we can provide a better service and the same merchandise at the same cost.
